My need to paint is born out of my desire to survive, to communicate, to love, to understand and to share. By painting I become aware of the interiority that we all share together and of our need to find freedom, harmony and peace of mind. I look at art as the real joy of life, expressed in something that is a luxurious - not a practical - commodity. I am seeing a very exciting change in my ability to express myself - from my more realistic style, to a more design of a painting. To me, artistic activity is a festive event that calls for sharing, learning, and growth. It is an opportunity to integrate one's spirit and ideas that have the strength to inspire, educate, and bring re-birth to the individual and into a community. I believe that art is a positive and powerful doorway towards unity, celebration and transcendence.

My paintings are inspirational for they allow the viewer to experience infinite viewpoints and perceptions. They are not abstract for they represent what is actually more real than what our eyes are able to see. They allow the observers to be inspired by taking their own perception beyond their senses and their surroundings. My art expands on the metaphysical and expressive ideas that I have drawn from Eastern mysticism: investigation of the nexus of internal and external universes. All things are connected in a cosmic web. To me, the interrelations and interactions between the parts of the whole are more important than the parts themselves.
